Film & Faith: in conversation with Hollywood actor David Oyelowo

The Christians in Parliament APPG is delighted to host an evening reception with Hollywood actor David Oyelowo on Monday 3rd February, 7:00pm-8:30pm in the Jubilee Room, House of Commons.

David Oyelowo is best known for his portrayal of Dr Martin Luther King, Jr in the film Selma, for which he received a Golden Globe nomination. He was the first black actor to play an English King for the Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of Henry VI. Within television his roles have ranged from Spooks to ‘Javert’ in the BBC production of Les Miserables.

David will be interviewed about his career and his Christian faith. There will be a light buffet supper served at 7pm, with the interview and Q&A beginning at 7:30pm. All Parliamentary passholders welcome.
