We were delighted to have philosopher and theologian James K. A. Smith join us for an evening reception to discuss how Christians should engage in politics. James is a Professor of Philosophy at Calvin College, where he holds the Gary and Henrietta Byker Chair in Applied Reformed Theology and Worldview. He has written numerous books, including his Cultural Liturgies series Imagining the Kingdom, Desiring the Kingdom and Awaiting the King.
