The Christians in Parliament APPG was delighted to host a panel discussion and Q&A, chaired by Rachael Maskell MP: Covid on my mind: Helping others survive and thrive during a time of heightened stress and anxiety.
The event took place on Monday 8 February, 1:00-2:00pm on Zoom.
Our panel reflected on the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on our mental wellbeing and provided practical tips on how to survive and thrive in this challenging season.
Panel members
Dr Kate Middleton is a psychologist with a particular interest in how our emotions affect us. She is a Director of the Mind and Soul Foundation and is also a church leader at Zeo Church.
Rev Dr Steve Midgley is the Senior Minister of Christ Church, Cambridge and the Executive Director of Biblical Counselling UK. He worked as a psychiatrist before getting ordained.
Dr Chi-Chi Obuaya is a Consultant Psychiatrist practicing in the NHS and at the Nightingale Hospital, central London’s leading private mental health hospital. He is also a Director of the Mind and Soul Foundation.
