The Christians in Parliament APPG was delighted to host an evening reception with Hollywood actor David Oyelowo on Monday 3rd February, 7:00pm-8:30pm in the Jubilee Room, House of Commons.
David Oyelowo is best known for his portrayal of Dr Martin Luther King, Jr in the film Selma, for which he received a Golden Globe nomination. He was the first black actor to play an English King for the Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of Henry VI. Within television his roles have ranged from Spooks to ‘Javert’ in the BBC production of Les Miserables.
David was interviewed by the Rt Hon Andrea Leadsom MP about his career and his Christian faith.
