The Christians in Parliament APPG is pleased to be able to host a briefing and discussion with Professor Tom Simpson on the subject, ‘What difference does Christian faith make to Defence policy?’
Tom Simpson is the incoming Alfred Landecker Professor of Values and Public Policy at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford (where he directs the Military Leadership and Judgment Programme) and is a Senior Research Fellow, Wadham College. He previously served with the Royal Marines Commandos, with tours of Northern Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan. He works on a variety of issues in moral and political philosophy, such as the nature of trust and freedom, autonomous weapons, cyber-attacks and the use of unconventional force.
